So... I'm back!! No really the last 3 - 6 months have been absolutely crazy for myself. I was literally locked in my room under mounds of fabric, thread and glue dots trying to finish my coursework. Only coming out to run to college for feedback or to refuel with red bull and coffee. It's say to safe they were pretty much the most unstylish and stressful months of my life *so far*. But it was all worth cause I got my results which turned out even better than what I thought I would get and I have the option to stay here or move to England and study. I'm still undecided as I'm a scaredy chicken.
But anyway seeing as I might not be here much longer I'm pushing myself creatively over the Summer to update my Styling Portfolio, start designing more and selling online.
So last Friday I styled my first shoot in over 5 months, with an awesome team I have to add. We wanted to do something quite dark and based around Witchcraft, 90's Girl Gangs and The Craft.
I choose items like mini tartan skirts, black lace bralets, trench coats, bohemian wide armed shirts, wednesday adam dresses, chunky chain necklaces, frilly ankle socks and platform boots.
I think this is a really cool look which can easily be created and great for anyone who tends to opt for darker shades.
To complete the awesome team my friend and badass bitch Make up Artist Melanie Lyttle, painted all the models faces and my other very talented friend and photographer Tony Webster shot the whole shoot and is even making a mini short film.
I can't wait to share the whole shoot, I'm so excited and it's so awesome too see your vision come to life.
Oh and lastly me and Melanie turned up in co-ordinating outfits which was too awesome not to get some snaps off!! My dogtooth culottes from boohoo were so.... comfy you'd be stupid not to try some!! There also down to £8 in the sale.
And fingers crossed the fluffy earrings and other cute things will be up in my online store this week. So many awesome things happening.
Hope your all having an awesome summer.

Building a better blog | How my blog can be better for you?
So the time has come again when I pick my friends brains. :)
As many of my friends and family (obv) know, I left hairdressing two years ago to pursue a new career in 'Fashion'.
In my time from leaving I've been lucky to get involved and try out lots of different areas of fashion e.g. Styling, Blogging, Modelling, Designing etc...
But now with the possibility of me specialising and completing a degree, I want to hone in on certain areas and do them even better!!
Unfortunately this being my final year on my course and really needing to ensure I get the grades to get accepted on my future course I didn't have or get to put as much time into my blog or promoting myself online as I'd of liked.
It is really is hard work creating and continuing to run a successful blog. I have always been greatly inspired and loved following many successful bloggers of all genres, but you really (well I certainly did) underestimate the time and effort that goes into each post until you start to do it yourself.
So really to stop me rambling and get back to the point I'd like to find out how I can make this better and more enjoyable for you my follower/s (if I have any haha)!!!
Please feel free to let me know are there certain things you enjoy in a blog, or certain things I do you like or don't like, or would just like to see more off?!
Does the idea of fashion collection overviews or new found designers excite you? Or would you like more styled editorials, DIYs or how to wear awkward/new trends?
Please feel free to let me know!! I really want to start working on this and make it the best it can be. :))

OOTD; Meadham Kirchhoff x Topshop x Shopping Haul
OOTD: Dress: Meadham Kirchhoff x Topshop , Coat: Topshop, Shoes: Velvet Siglin by Jeffrey Campbell, Bag: Chanel, Rings: Snake - Spanish Market, Turquoise band from Vintage Fashion Jewellery, Heart Tip Nails: Henry Holland at Boots.
Shopping Haul: Rose embroidered crop top, lilac camo tee dress, lilac and lemon fluffly crop jumpers, pastel chain necklace - All Primark. Rhinestone Hair Bows - Market stall.
Pretty big blog post due to my quiet and busy January.
Literally my January turned into writing, applying, sending and waiting to hear from Universities; and then after all that preparing my portfolio for interviews. Which unfortunately meant not a lot of time for my blog. But it all has been great experience in more ways than just applying and hoping I get accepted.
Anyway, this was my outfit I wore to my first Interview for 'Fashion Promotion with Styling' at UCLAN Preston. I wanted to feel tidy and smart but still bring across my personality, most universities will tell you their dress code is smart casual and if you want wear something that describes or explains you. :)
I'd love to do a blog post on University application tips if anyone feels it would be helpful, I've experienced so much the past month.
My interview went really well and I wore my Meadham Kirchhoff x Topshop dress with my Pink Topshop coat. I am so obsessed with lilac purple at the minute, I think it will be my obsession for the coming Spring Summer months.
I balanced my outfit with my new shoes I got for my interviews 'Black Velvet Siglin by Jeffrey Campbell' , I already have these in dog tooth and they are so.... comfy and look great with everything especially when your a shortay like me.
After my interview I met up with my good friend Amy and we went and raided Primark after some Wagamamma. So good.
But seriously go check out primark, I hadn't been in ages and I got the cutest crop fluffy jumpers in lilac and lemon. Their new spring summer collection has just dropped as well and I will deffo be buying it all from palm trees to pink leather.
Well I hope you enjoy and have a good week.
Good luck for everyone having Uni Interviews atm.
See you soon.

DIY; Bleached Denim Dungarees
Here's my first ever blog DIY!!
Like everyone in the New Year, I started clearing out my wardrobe and I found my Topshop denim dungarees. I sort of didn't love them anymore but it was the colour of denim that bothered me more than anything. Cause dungarees are cool obv.

So instead of throwing them out I got some BLEACH and went cray cray!!. :))
I photographed the steps which you can check out and follow below.

At this stage be careful not to leave your denim in too long!! Bleach can burn holes in your super cool clothes and those holes might be in the wrong places 'oooopsies'!!

OOTD; Bitching and Junkfood x The Ragged Priest
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!
Hope everyone got spoilt and had a super lovely day. :)
I'm updating this from my phone, so apologies if it looks messy, first time trying out the blogger app.
The reason behind this stupid madness, is that I'm forcing myself to post more!! Over Christmas I got so busy and stressed I missed out on loads of cool blog updates etc.
So fingers crossed this time I'm changing for the better, I hate New Year Resolutions but I do believe in self improvement.
I already have lots of ideas and inspiration and I plan to be sharing that a lot more.
Also I am always up for ideas or my followers thoughts.
Thanks so much everyone!!
Have a lovely weekend.
xoxo
Kelsey
